I love Onsen trip.

Japanese Onsen or hot tub (indoor or outdoor) is one of the most beautiful and therapeutic event to experience when going for a spa trip. I usually prefer those located around mountains or valley, imagine sitting quietly in the hot water during autumn or winter and enjoy the sensitivity of the heat touches every cell of your skin with a spectacular view (bonus). Ohhh.... heaven... So far, I have only tried Onsen in Japan and Taiwan and I think the services that they provide are really superb. One of the highlight of going Onsen trip is to enjoy the environment, the quietness and the delicious big spread of meals that served in the room (usually it come with a package so it is quite worth it). Yummy!!!  My next Onsen trip will be in Taiwan, end of March. I really can't wait!

Tips:
1.Do check with the resorts how many meals included? (Usually Breakfast and Dinner is included)
2.What are the operating hour for the Onsen? ( I don't think it operate 24 hours)
3. Do not wear swimming gear in it! Yes, you have to be brave. Use a towel to cover yourself if you afraid of frighten other patrons in the onsen.
4.Do not stay more than 15 mins especially when the water is too hot for you (careful! do not over cooked yourself)
5. Do not swim or splash water happily in the onsen (it suppose to enjoy in calm and quiet mode)
6.Of course guests with medical conditions do consult the doctor before planning the trip.
