Is it that difficult to learn massage? Mmmm.... I thought so too before I decided to pick up this skill 10 years ago. But after going through the massage courses, I realised that it actually not that bad and it was definitely very fun and interesting during classes. For the past 6 years (whao! Time really flies), I have conducted various massage courses in certified schools or even for interested individual. I realised that most of the students worry that they do not have that pressure to make the receiver feels relaxed. What I strongly believe is that massage is not always about pressure, is how the giver execute the flow, rhythm and apply regulated strength on different parts of the body. Rule of the thumb "Practise makes perfect" and gradually you will know you are doing right when giving massages.
Imagine you lay your palms on the shoulder or feet of your love ones (especially after his or her long day at work), slowly and firmly hitting all the right spots and make him or her smile in relieve. Isn't that more than worth it. Trust me, nothing's more rewarding than personally make your loved ones happy. Anyway, I always believe happiness has to be shared!
